Netsafe launches New Zealand’s first Porn Week

Our client Netsafe, in partnership with The Spin-Off, launched New Zealand’s first Porn Week to raise awareness about issues around pornography and removing the stigma attached to sexual conversations.

The organisations latest research found 1 in 4 children were being exposed to pornography by age 12 and 66% have never spoken to an adult about any form of pornography they have seen online.

Porn Week aimed to ditch the taboo that pornography should not be talked about – and provided young Kiwis with the skills to know what to do if they discover porn.
